Why coaching?

I was petrified when I did my first triathlon. I felt very unprepared and there was just so much I didn’t know. Despite the fears, I loved the race and quickly went on to join my local triathlon club where I made big improvements by doing their coached sessions. But it was still quite hit and miss and it was only when I got a dedicated coach a year later that I really progressed to the next level. I felt more accountable because I had a personalised training plan to follow and I developed an inner confidence knowing that someone else was helping me to be the best I could be.

Why choose me?

I am a British Triathlon Level 2 Coach, I coach regular sessions at Knutsford Triathlon club and I’m a Personal Trainer.  I’ve also competed across all triathlon distances, from sprint to Ironman and also raced at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.

Most importantly, behind all of the qualifications, I’m a positive, approachable person who loves triathlon and gets a big kick from helping others. I want to empower you so you feel confident during training and races and help you to avoid suffering from the same anxieties I had during my first few races. You don’t have to be superhuman to have a coach, but you do have to be willing to work together and put the hard work in.
